Are there still a few questions you might have?

Do you just like to know how things work before you get in touch?

Here are a few of your questions answered.

Pet sessions can take place either at the first floor studio on Somers Rd in Rugby, a location of your choice (a park or their normal walk) or in your own home using their natural environment.

The studio’s full address is Kathy Burgess Photography, First Floor, Altiga Limited, 61 Somers Rd, Rugby CV22 7DG (just up from Adventure Playzone on the other side of the road). There is free parking onsite and the studio is fully air conditioned. There is room at the bottom of the stairs in reception for any buggy’s that you don’t want to carry up the stairs.

Please bare in mind that the studio is on the first floor and does have a set of ‘floating’ stairs with a banister. Sometimes dogs can be a little cautious of these types of stairs but please don’t get stressed as I can try to help with any anxiety they may have. If they still refuse to go up the stairs then please don’t worry as we can always re-book your session for a location or in-home session where they will feel more comfortable.

Absolutely! These sessions can have a maximum of 2 children (aged 9 months and over) and two dogs. It’s good if your dogs are trained to sit and wait but please don’t worry if they don’t, we will allow for more time to get the perfect shots.

All you need is you, your dog, some water for both you and your dog and some of their favourite treats. Feel free to use any doggy outfits or props that you’d like just let me know beforehand so I can allow for more time 🙂

This isn’t a problem at all! We will start all location experiences by taking a short ‘on lead’ calm walk so your dog can sniff around and get to know their surroundings. The session will then begin and will include ‘on lead’ poses (you can be edited out if you wish) with different natural backgrounds such as trees, flowers etc. We can then use the long line lead I have to get those action shots if you like.

If you prefer I do have access to an enclosed doggy friendly field so we can include some fun filled ‘off lead’ action shots too! Please mention this when getting in touch so I can see which dates the field is available. All experiences are super relaxed and I will explain everything to you so you can relax and enjoy the fun.

This all depends on the type of images you want from the session but for fine art portraits the maximum for one shoot would be 2. This allows enough time for each horse to be photographed in the different poses. If you have more than 2 horses then please get in touch to create a bespoke session especially for you.

Yes, absolutely! I can photograph up to 4 people’s horses, at the same yard, in one day. You will all receive your own viewing and ordering appointment in the comfort of the studio too! Get in touch to find out more about yard discounts.

For equine shoot’s I cover within Rugby and up to 10miles outside Rugby for no extra charge. A fuel fee of 60p per mile outside of this range will apply.

For pet photography, anything over 8miles from cv23 0FJ will incur a 60p per mile fuel fee.

For children’s sessions, I use the first floor studio on Somers Road, Rugby.

Consultations are a perfect way for you and your child/pet to meet me and for me to go over any questions you may have about the session. We will discuss which session you feel would be best for you (studio, location or in-home) and what images you’d like to get from the session. This meeting is completely informal and would take place at the your home if it’s a in-home session or at the studio at least a few days before your session.

Viewing your images and placing your order is simple! Around 2 weeks after your session, I will invite you to the studio for your viewing and ordering appointment. This will be an opportunity for you to view your images, choose your favourites and place any further order you wish. I will show you the products available at your session. The ordering appointment can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and all orders must be paid for during the appointment via cash or card. If you have difficulty with stairs, please let me know and we can make alternative arrangements that will work better for you.

I offer several different products to suit different styles and we can build the perfect package just for you. From a fine art vintage frame to individual matted prints, there is something for everyone. Beautiful wall art frames start from £359 and other products start from £90.
